#1.  Xindanwei Property

Xindanwei grows, so do our members. That’s why we have developed a plan to apply our people-powered approach among various of imaginative and extraordinary spaces and buildings around the city, in order to accommodate the growth of our members, allow more community participation and increase the the intensification of social and financial values for our community members.

Event Spaces:

- TK Terrace: Located in the Taikang Rd. area, it is a retail conversion of restored factories strung together. The event venue is around 150 sqm, capable for events of up to 80 people, well equipped with projector and provides F&B service.

- Haworth Organic Workspace: Located conveniently next to Jing’an temple, it is a collaboration project with Haworth Asia Pacific. The 960 sqm Organic Workspace is ideal for high-end events for up to 80 people, well equipped with projector, video screens, curated electronic content, coffee and tea and provides F&B service.

Office spaces:

- Xindanwei /Grasslands: Xindanwei/Grasslands is located in a historic lane house on Shaoxing Road near South Shaanxi Road. Xindanwei/Grasslands showcases the concept of “Eco-workspace”, which encourages waste separation, minimized use of utilities, thingking before printing, recycling what we can and refuse what we don’t really need.  The entire space will only use 100% natural and toxin free products.

- Central POD: Located in Jing An Temple CBD, it is a contemporary creative office and commercial space. Fifty-two office spaces ranging from 27 to 138 sqm spread on 3 levels are available now. Designed specifically for creative businesses and professionals, Central POD focuses on an urban loft-like design transformed from old industrial property build in 130 to 1970.

- Wan Space: a newly renovated creative office block on Wanhangdu Road. Airy and smartly sized room (35-77 sqm) in a 4-floor red brick building. The small roof-top garden is a real bonus. Value for money.

- Red villa @ Wan Space: a 3-floor villa-style building on Wanhangdu Road. The ground floor space (250 sqm) and upper floors (300 sqm) can be rented together or separately. The building has a simple interior with nice wooden stairs. Its ground floor garden is spacious and suitable for chill out and hosting event. Ideal for medium size creative company.

1). Xindanwei Past Events:

- Let the dream fly – MOZI Human Powered aircraft going for Icarus Cup 
From 13th to 22nd of July, exactly one week before the opening ceremony of the 2012 London Olympic Games, the Royal Aeronautical Society Human Powered Aircraft Group will hold the Icarus Cup at Lasham Airfield in Hampshire, England. Mr Mao Yiqing and his team Shanghai OXAI, once invited by the Japan Human Powered Aircraft Association to particpate in a top international human powered aircraft competition held in Japan where they won a prize, has also been invited to take part in the Icarus Cup this year with their aircraft ‘Mozi’, the first human powered aircraft in China.

The 2012 Icarus Cup event will be broadcast live on western media including BBC and CNN with an expected audience of over 100 million. Mr Mao Yiqing would like to use this opportunity to showcase the crativity and manufacturing prowess of Chinese enteprises. Sponsorship can take the following forms: 1) Naming rights to the team and aircraft, 2) The design of the aircraft skin can be tailor-made to the requirments of the sponsor, 3) Product placement in the apparels of team members 4) Blind ad may be inserted by team members in interviews with media and other soft settings.

- Pre-launch of SHElovestraveling.com and Kezhayou.com
8 March 2012 awaited the Pre-launch of two exciting online travel brands. The female-oriented travel platform SHElovestraveling.com partners with the hostel booking portal Kezhanyou.com, as they jointly target young local consumers who are increasingly making their travel decisions and buying their travel online.Feature Photos. 2).Xindanwei forthcoming events:

-  Dutch Film Week 
To mark 40 years diplomatic relations between China and the Netherlands, Dutch Week is being organised. Dutch Week is organised by the Dutch business community in Shanghai and the Dutch Consulate General in Shanghai. During Dutch Week a number of activities are being organised to show Dutch Excellence to the Chinese community. More about Dutch Week 2012.

Dutch Film Week is a part of the Dutch Week 2012. Dutch Consulate General in Shanghai and Xindanwei will host the film festival. We will present you a Dutch movie every night for the week. The opening party will take place at 6:30pm on April 23. Peter Potman, the Consul-General will also be here to talk about the film and culture.

- Random DSIGN 
This exhibition displays the Random DSIGN collection and work, which include T-shirts, cups, hats, and so on. The opening party will take place at 3pm on 7th April.

Random DSIGN is randomly applying innovation design onto many. It is a label with no labeling. Random DSIGN does not design product, does not produce graphic, but express its love and fear of the world in its random little ways; it inspires a control-free space where the reality does not rule.

- Twittamentary Screening
Twittamentary is a creative commons, experimental documentary made by and about Twitter users. The documentary will be played in Xindanwei on 28th of April. Soik Soik, the film maker, will also be here to talk about his experience and thoughts about the documentary. More information about Twittamentary.

- Xinchejian Upcoming Events
There are three events will be presented by Xinchejian in this April. They are related to art and tech, sound synthesizer, as well as video synthesizer.

#3. Xindanwei Wall

1) Co-working Manual app:
Xindanwei announced the ‘Co-working Manual’ to disscuss the the necessity and advantages of coworking communities, Xindanwei business model, key points of building the space, experience in business planning, community management and brand management. The purpose of launching this manual is to share experience and models, thus to promote the ‘coworking community’ working model and change the way people work.

“Xindanwei Coworking Manual” is nominated to “Digital Communities” category of the International Prix Ars Electronica 2012.

2) THNK, The Amsterdam School of Creative Leadership:
CEO of Xindanwei Liu Yan along with founder of Greennovate Mihela Hladin are going to attend THNK Creative Leadership Program of The Amsterdam School of Creative Leadership in Amsterdam. Stefano Marzano, former Chief Design Officer of Royal Philips Electronics, is the Founding Dean of THNK. And the advisory Board and faculty of THNK is comprised of the top creative leaders which include the Co-founder and Executive Director of Stanford d.school George Kembel, Designer Marcel Wander, Principal Architect & Co-founder of Unstudio Ben Van Berkel, and former Director of Design of Philips Marco Bevolon. Six months into the program, Xindanwei, Greennovate, along with Xindanwei/Grassland will embark on a twelve-month Challenge program called the Accelerator.

3) Revised Price:
Thank you all for your continuing support. In this price-soaring age, we are trying out best to control the cost though, it’s still unlikely to sustain ourselves with the current price offering. So, we have no choice to increase the price of the membership Xindanwei on Yongjia Rd 50 from 1st of March on.

The new prices will be –

RMB20/hour/person for conference room use,

RMB2500/month for monthly membership（three months accrue）

RMB2300/month for yearly membership. (for 6 months and over) monthly payment and deposit for one month

4) Property Services:
To provide better property service, Help Desk is now established for users to nail down all the maintenance issues. We promise: arrive on the spot within 30 minutes for emergency maintenance; finish minor maintenance within 3 hours and big maintenance with in 3 days; all maintenances not included in contract will be charged according to the price list.
