The first volunteer meeting was held the 27th of april at Xindanwei. The meeting was a very positive experience and we had planned it to be a mixture of team-building process exercises and a presentation of the Oasis Game and the project in Shanghai. All of the present potential volunteers thought that the evening had been inspiring and fun. Everyone expressed motivation to engage in and to be a part of the execution of the Oasis Game Shanghai. The fact that all of the volunteers are bilinguals is a valuable gift for the execution of the Oasis Game. This will enable a more direct contact between the community members and the volunteers as well as it will render superfluous the use of external translators and thereby ensure a more direct communication path between us and the community. The next step is to plan and carry out the first Oasis Game training workshop for the volunteers. We want to combine Kaospilot process exercises with the Oasis Game Methodology and use our skills from the 3rd semester as graduated process leaders in the following steps of the Oasis Game. 16 years ago - View |
