*LLND is Laurent Lettree and Nathalie Delpech, intermedia artists from Paris. Their work focuses on interactive projects they call instrumental sculptures, and audio-visual performances. For visuals *LLND use a setup of rotating tables, cameras, multiple objects, and a multichannel video mixer – making it possible to do real-time cinema and special effects without using a computer. For sound *LLND use Max/MSP to link images and sounds, various sensors, physical objects and real-time processing together with Ableton Live.
For dorkbot Shanghai #3 *LLND will bring some of their live material and perform extracts as well as discussing associated themes and the techniques used.
