Speaker: John Fu

John Fu is association professor and Program director of Industrial design in School of Media and Design, Shanghai Jiao Tong University, head of Color Creation Center, CFCA. He showed great interest on design research since his third year of undergraduate study. From then on, he has been devoting himself in the design trend research, especially on lifestyle and visual taste of Chinese consumer for many years. He developed the method of Chinese consumer segment in 2005. He’s a member of Chinese Academy of Sociology.

As a design trend research expert, he assists multinational enterprises to understand the local Chinese market and helps the local companies to understand the trend. His client list covers Yamaha, Philips, Panasonic, GE, Lenovo, Mazda, SAIC, Dulux, Volkswagen and many others. He found Insight Shanghai in 2008, the only one design trend conference in China.

演讲者简介

傅炯，上海交通大学媒体与设计学院设计系工业设计专业主任，副教授，中国流行色协会色彩创新中心主任。1998年，毕业于江南大学设计学院工业设计专业，获硕士学位。从大学三年级起，他显示出对社会学的兴趣，从此就一直在设计和社会学之间的领域研究，包括设计趋势、中国消费者的审美和生活形态。2005年，他开发了一套细分中国消费者的理论。他还是中国社会学学会的会员。作为设计趋势专家，他帮助海外企业理解中国市场，也帮助本土企业理解全球趋势。他的客户包括雅马哈、飞利浦、松下、GE、联想、马自达、上海汽车、多乐士、上海大众等。2008年，他创办了中国唯一一个设计趋势论坛——Insight Shanghai 上海国际设计趋势高峰论坛。2010年会议主题：未来中国年轻消费者。

1、 国际设计趋势与本土应用
设计趋势的基本概念是什么？可以把国际设计趋势直接应用于中国市场吗？

2、 中西方奢侈感差异。
