Who are you and what do you do?
Hi everyone, my name is Nana. This is the very first month here working at Xindanwei. I’m now designing a piece of jewelry of universe theme. I’m gonna use natural stones and crystals. For example, this is the amethyst, this is natural turquoise. White crystal is my favorite. This kind of crystal is naturally irregular in six surface ares. I’ll name the piece AKASA. AKASA is the Sanskrit word meaning “aether” in both its elemental and metaphysical senses. It represents the feeling of unlimited in spatial extent. I probably will use it as my brand’s name/logo since it’s very popular.
What were some of the biggest challenges you faced in developing the project?
The biggest challenge is I’m in charge of almost everything! I have to do the jewelry design and production; I’m setting up a website and all kinds of promotions; not mention that whole marketing/branding and operation are all my concerns. So it’s complicated and I have to all the stuff.
How do you think coworking can help you to achieve your passion and purpose?
I think Xindanwei/coworking model helps me a lot. I’m not so good at website building and other tech stuff, but I can meet a lot of people who working on programming and online marketing here. They gave a lot of advise and help.
