In collaboration with OMG Creative Consulting, Xindanwei brings you a team of extrodinary BIA (Black Innovation Award) winners and judges from Indonesia. They are multi-disciplinary designers, design thinkers and creative entrepreneaurs!
BIA is a project of OMG Creative Consulting in Indonesia. It is the competition about product innovation with unique ideas and useful to other people. Every year, they give the winners grand prize not just money but the experience and inspiring travel to learn something new. Last year, the winners were grandprized to Bangkok to TCDC (thailand Design and Creative Center). 2 years ago they went to Reddot Museum and get Debono’s workshop about Lateral Thinking in Singapore. Usually, the winner comes from university student or first jobber between age 18-35 years old from various background such as architecture, design, economy, communication etc.
As a part of this Creative trip to Shanghai, some of the designers from Black Innovation Awards will present their work in Pecha Kucha format in Xindanwei and connect with xindanwei’s dynamic creative community. Don’t miss this chance to be inspired and make friends with these amazing people!
Speakers for the presentation：
- Leonard Theosabrata : Award-winning designer, owner of LTD (Leonard Theosabrata Design studio) which focused on interior and product design and also the co founder of Brightspot market and Good Depts. He has received the Red Dot Design Award in 2003 and the Good Design Award in Japan in 2005.
- Dwinita Larasati : Industrial Design Lecturer, got her master degree from the design academy in Eindhoven and conducting a Doctoral research at Delft University of Technology. She was also chosen as one student of Al Gore Sustainable Teaching Class
- Diana Mochdie : Interior Design Consultant, Owner of Toimoi (art and design shop). Website : www.toimoi.co.id
- Yoris Sebastian : Author of Creative Junkies, Founder & Creative Thinker of OMG Creative Consulting, Music Entrepreneur & Public Speaker. He is also the winner from International Young Creative Entrepreneur of the Year 2006 in Music in London held by British Council.
