Who are you and what do you do?
My name is Yung-chung Lin. I am starting up a company with my friend, Mark. We are working on a mobile application called, LGO (Let’s Go Out).
LGO is an application helping people leave their computers, and connect with other people offline. Through this application, people can create and participate in activities they love to do, and easily meet more people who share the same interests and hobbies.
Today, we have many devices to stay online, but the more devices we have, the less we communicate actually. We hope, with this application, people can have more interactions in real life. We hope strangers can all become friends by using LGO.
What are some of the biggest challenges you faced now?
For a startup, the biggest challenge would be staying focused and delivering efficiently. We used to work in our apartment, but there is too much distraction at home. It is pretty hard to stay focused because of that.
How do you think coworking can help you with them?
I think renting office space at Xindanwei is making us work more efficiently. Sitting in an office shared with others gives us some stimulus to work better. The atmosphere is very calm, and the coworkers are respectful in keeping the environment quiet and professional. Exchanging ideas with the people working here gives us new perspectives on our own project.
