[lang_en]Make is a new movement against the shrink-wrapped advertising driven consumption. We are taking back the ownership of our own stuffs. The event is to call for everyone in Shanghai who are interesting in getting their hands dirty and make stuffs. So far, we already have presentations on eArt, fashion, urban farming and open source hardware development. The event will be in un-conference style. Everyone is free to go on stage and present their own projects.[/lang_en]

Comment by halida — April 2, 2010 @ 4:30 pm

都市農田看著有點意思;

We have decided to organize our Sunday event at Xindanwei this week.
Come play with us for a game, fashion and cakes afternoon. Sew your own stylish environmental friendly bags. Enjoy cakes made by Caroline (who doesn’t know how to make cakes… this should be interesting). And drink tea prepared by Ada.
We have some of the material for making the bags. You will have to bring fabrics, old clothes, needles, thread, scissors and anything else you think may be useful.
