4) Xindanwei/Grasslands FULL house:
Our Eco-workspace has reached the full capacity last week. It has gathered a community of like-minded social entrepreneurs, freedom fighters, environmentalists, health advocates, sustainability consultants, wellness practitioners, and human-centered designers under one roof to create a green community for everyone to graze and grow. On top of the basic office services built upon Xindanwei’s sharing, connectivity and collaboration culture, Xindanwei/Grasslands also features a dozen reasons why working alone or in a traditional office kinda sucks.

5) Co-working Manual app PDF version available:
Xindanwei announced the ‘Co-working Manual App’ at the beginning of 2012 to disscuss the the necessity and advantages of coworking communities, Xindanwei business model, key points of building the space, experience in business planning, community management and brand management. Its PDF version is now available and can be downloaded here.

- TK Terrace: Jugend Space is located at Taikang/Jianguo rd (TK Terrace). area which is a retail conversion of restored factories strung together. Jugend is decorated in modern architectural style to fit in all kinds of events, especially movie screening. - Haworth Organic Workspace: Located conveniently next to Jing’an temple, it is a collaboration project with Haworth Asia Pacific. - Blue Lotus Top Space: Located at No. 2 Tianjin Road which situated at the old British concession, Art Deco architecture with convenient transport, close to Nanjing Road and the Bund. Awarded by Shanghai Outstanding Heritage, the building was designed by well-known architect Jingpei Li.

- Space: Twentyseven: is an inspired multi-purpose venue restored from a former Shikumen residence. Located in the heart of Shanghai’s central business district and nestled within a heritage laneway, its layout and facilities provide the ideal hosting platform for a diverse range of activities, that can be transformed from a private kitchen for dinner parties, to a brainstorming hub for corporate gatherings. 1). Xindanwei Forthcoming Events:

- GeekPark Shanghai 
Geekpark is a renowned monthly event among the IT community in China. It was started in 2010 for Chinese IT innovators to explore and share about the IT products and trendy technology. The event features technical talks by CEOs, Product Directors, and Product Managers in the industry. On 9th of June, Geekpark will debut in Shanghai in collaboration with Xindanwei.

- Wu Youjian: Being Gay through a Mother’s Eyes
On 5th of June, the speaker Wu Youjian will share her stories in Xindanwei. Wu Youjian is a retired editor, a mother who has been the first in China to openly support her gay son and has laterbecome an advocate for the LGBT community at large.

-  The Junior World Entrepreneurship Forum
On June 8-9-10th, at East China Normal University campus. This forum is a think tank for young people, centered this year on entrepreneurial ecosystems, and especially on how to cultivate communities to drive wealth creation and social justice. Conferences and panels the morning, workshops the afternoon. Xindanwei cofounder Liu Yan will be speaking on June 9 about “Developing Entrepreneurship at the Bottom of the Pyramid”. Register now!

-  ShanghaiPRIDE Returns to June in 2012
ShanghaiPRIDE, now in its 4th year will be hot and fabulous again in 2012 with dates confirmed for June. The week-long event will be held over June 15-23, with the final weekend landing on the Dragon boat festival. Organized by the ShanghaiLGBT group and partnering with several local LGBT organizers there will be a myriad of activities under this year’s ShanghaiPRIDE banner. - Xinchejian Upcoming Events
There are some events will be presented by Xinchejian in this June. They are related to art and tech, sound synthesizer, as well as video synthesizer.

2).Xindanwei Past events:

- Mr. Pablo Ventura : Choreographic Machine
During this lecture, Mr. Pablo Ventura shared his “Choreographic Machine” method of choreographing. He has present his method using examples of videos of his dance media productions. In addition, he has talked about his most recent work with audio-visual interaction designers.

- Chihmin Chiu: Solo Photography Exhibition – Hey Dude!
Guess who they are? The funny street youth, the old fashioned boy, or, any identity you can imagine. It’s an interesting thing to see the changes of these anonymous boys through Chihmin’s camera lens. The opening party took place at 8pm on 18th May.

- Artist Networking 2.0: MyPeople Project
The project suggests a new approach to develop a network between artists from Europe and Asia, allowing an intercultural dialogue. The process will result in exhibitions taking place in London, Amsterdam and Shanghai. The project intends to create a more organic discussion and an opportunity for the exchange of views and perceptions between artists, as well as an online and offline artist/audience dialogue. More about the project. On the 30th of May, Xindanwei invited artists from this project to make an “open dialogue” at Yongjia 50.

－大象：由一群在业界浸淫多年的专业人士共同组建，立足于国内顶尖艺术家云集的西部M50桃浦创意园区，是一个集设计、摄影、App制作、互动程序开发、电子出版于一体的新媒体跨界服务机构，致力于为需要独特创意的客户提供整合解决方案。大象invisible拥有大型专业摄影棚、近百平米的创意活动场地及灵活的办公及会议空间，总面积超过三百平米。

6月5日晚上7点半中国第一位公开支持同性恋儿子、进而支持同性恋群体的母亲吴幼坚将坐客新单位，解说同性爱、出柜、形婚、同妻等话题。吴幼坚将从自己家庭说起，为什么能理解接受同性恋儿子，并支持儿子通过媒体公开出柜，自己随后也出镜支持同性恋群体。介绍儿子得到父母支持后爱情与事业的发展。并简述同性恋亲友会、吴幼坚工作室先后组织的公益活动。

－ 世界青年企业家论坛
世界青年企业家论坛（JWEF）是面向那些对企业家精神和挑战企业家精神有兴趣的人。论坛聚集来自各国的企业家，公司创始人，社会、政治和商界领袖，他们集思广益，一同为塑造一个拥有财富和社会正义的2050年世界提出自己的见解和建议。论坛为期三天，从2011年6月8至10日，在华东师范大学（中山北路校区）科学会堂举行，新单位CEO刘妍将在6月9日早做主题演讲。

－ 2012上海骄傲节回归！

－ Pablo Ventura谈舞蹈设计
Pablo Ventura先生和分享了他关于舞美设计的“编舞机器法”(Choreographic Machine) ，并用他的舞蹈影像作品来诠释。同时，他也将与大家分享近期他与“音响－视频”互动设计师一起完成的作品。

Pablo Ventura先生是一位舞美大师和媒体艺术家，他以优异的成绩毕业于伦敦现代舞学院舞蹈和舞美专业，并创建了Ventura舞蹈公司。Ventura公司在专业舞蹈秀和艺术装置领域，以及电子音乐家，影像艺术家，软件设计师的合作上都拥有丰富经验。他凭借作品多次获奖，其中包括苏黎世舞蹈大奖。2007年，Ventura先生被旨在让艺术与科技互相结合的“实验室里的科学家”项目选中。在参与项目期间，他和Daniel Bisig先生在苏黎世大学的人工智能实验室里共同开发了一款电脑编舞应用软件。

－ 邱林春申：个人摄影展 小伙侬好！
邱林春申，一个来自上海的摄影师。敏感人，时尚爱好者，同时用胶片记录生活。小伙侬好！的开幕派对已于5月18日（周五）晚8点在新单位举行。

你以为他们面目模糊、个性混淆，然而当出现在相机镜头里时的他们，不再仅仅是某个微笑着和你招呼的时髦小伙。他们成为了有趣的街头游荡青年、透着复古气味的旧上海少年、或者，你能想象到的任意的身份标识。而邱林春申，喜欢和他们打招呼，用他的相机镜头。

－ 艺术家网络2.0：MyPeople Project

Xindanwei grows, so do our members. That’s why we have developed a plan to apply our people-powered approach among various of imaginative and extraordinary spaces and buildings around the city, in order to accommodate the growth of our members, allow more community participation and increase the the intensification of social and financial values for our community members.

- invisible: The invisible involves itself in many fields: design, photography, app/interactive program development and electronic publishing. It is a crossover new media service agency that can provide clients with special and creative solutions. The EI is equipped with large professional photo studio, event areas (approximately 100m2) suitable for creative activities and flexible working and conference spaces. The total area is above 300 m2.

- Xindanwei /Grasslands: Xindanwei/Grasslands is located in a historic lane house on Shaoxing Road near South Shaanxi Road. Xindanwei/Grasslands showcases the concept of “Eco-workspace”, which encourages waste separation, minimized use of utilities, thingking before printing, recycling what we can and refuse what we don’t really need.  The entire space will only use 100% natural and toxin free products.

- Central POD: Located in Jing An Temple CBD, it is a contemporary creative office and commercial space. Fifty-two office spaces ranging from 27 to 138 sqm spread on 3 levels are available now. Designed specifically for creative businesses and professionals, Central POD focuses on an urban loft-like design transformed from old industrial property build in 130 to 1970.

- Wan Space: a newly renovated creative office block on Wanhangdu Road. Airy and smartly sized room (35-77 sqm) in a 4-floor red brick building. The small roof-top garden is a real bonus. Value for money.

- Red villa @ Wan Space: a 3-floor villa-style building on Wanhangdu Road. The ground floor space (250 sqm) and upper floors (300 sqm) can be rented together or separately. The building has a simple interior with nice wooden stairs. Its ground floor garden is spacious and suitable for chill out and hosting event. Ideal for medium size creative company.

- Dutch Film Week 
To mark 40 years diplomatic relations between China and the Netherlands, Dutch Week is being organised. Dutch Week is organised by the Dutch business community in Shanghai and the Dutch Consulate General in Shanghai. During Dutch Week a number of activities are being organised to show Dutch Excellence to the Chinese community. More about Dutch Week 2012.

Dutch Film Week is a part of the Dutch Week 2012. Dutch Consulate General in Shanghai and Xindanwei will host the film festival. We will present you a Dutch movie every night for the week. The opening party will take place at 6:30pm on April 23. Peter Potman, the Consul-General will also be here to talk about the film and culture. Event Features

- Twittamentary Screening
Twittamentary is a creative commons, experimental documentary made by and about Twitter users. The documentary will be played in Xindanwei on 28th of April. Soik Soik, the film maker, will also be here to talk about his experience and thoughts about the documentary. More information about Twittamentary.

Chihmin Chiu, a Shanghainese photographer. He is a sensitive person, who is a fashion lover, a fever guy of shooting by film.

The purpose of launching this manual is to share experience and models, thus to promote the ‘coworking community’ working model and change the way people work.

“Xindanwei Coworking Manual” is nominated to “Digital Communities” category of the International Prix Ars Electronica 2012.

2) THNK, The Amsterdam School of Creative Leadership:
CEO of Xindanwei Liu Yan along with founder of Greennovate Mihela Hladin are going to attend THNK Creative Leadership Program of The Amsterdam School of Creative Leadership in Amsterdam. Stefano Marzano, former Chief Design Officer of Royal Philips Electronics, is the Founding Dean of THNK. And the advisory Board and faculty of THNK is comprised of the top creative leaders which include the Co-founder and Executive Director of Stanford d.school George Kembel, Designer Marcel Wander, Principal Architect & Co-founder of Unstudio Ben Van Berkel, and former Director of Design of Philips Marco Bevolon. Six months into the program, Xindanwei, Greennovate, along with Xindanwei/Grassland will embark on a twelve-month Challenge program called the Accelerator.

3) Revised Price:
Thank you all for your continuing support. In this price-soaring age, we are trying out best to control the cost though, it’s still unlikely to sustain ourselves with the current price offering. So, we have no choice to increase the price of the membership Xindanwei on Yongjia Rd 50 from 1st of March on.

The new prices will be –

RMB20/hour/person for conference room use,
RMB2500/month for monthly membership（three months accrue）
RMB2300/month for yearly membership. (for 6 months and over) monthly payment and deposit for one month

Pablo Ventura先生将和大家分享他关于舞美设计的“编舞机器法”(Choreographic Machine) ，并用他的舞蹈影像作品来诠释。同时，他也将与大家分享近期他与“音响－视频”互动设计师一起完成的作品。

Pablo Ventura先生是一位舞美大师和媒体艺术家，他以优异的成绩毕业于伦敦现代舞学院舞蹈和舞美专业，并创建了Ventura舞蹈公司。Ventura公司在专业舞蹈秀和艺术装置领域，以及电子音乐家，影像艺术家，软件设计师的合作上都拥有丰富经验。他凭借作品多次获奖，其中包括苏黎世舞蹈大奖。2007年，Ventura先生被旨在让艺术与科技互相结合的“实验室里的科学家”项目选中。在参与项目期间，他和Daniel Bisig先生在苏黎世大学的人工智能实验室里共同开发了一款电脑编舞应用软件。

That’s why we have developed a plan to apply our people-powered approach among various of imaginative and extraordinary spaces and buildings around the city, in order to accommodate the growth of our members, allow more community participation and increase the the intensification of social and financial values for our community members.

- invisible: The invisible involves itself in many fields: design, photography, app/interactive program development and electronic publishing. It is a crossover new media service agency that can provide clients with special and creative solutions. The EI is equipped with large professional photo studio, event areas (approximately 100m2) suitable for creative activities and flexible working and conference spaces. The total area is above 300 m2.

- Xindanwei /Grasslands: Xindanwei/Grasslands is located in a historic lane house on Shaoxing Road near South Shaanxi Road. Xindanwei/Grasslands showcases the concept of “Eco-workspace”, which encourages waste separation, minimized use of utilities, thingking before printing, recycling what we can and refuse what we don’t really need.  The entire space will only use 100% natural and toxin free products.

- Central POD: Located in Jing An Temple CBD, it is a contemporary creative office and commercial space. Fifty-two office spaces ranging from 27 to 138 sqm spread on 3 levels are available now. Designed specifically for creative businesses and professionals, Central POD focuses on an urban loft-like design transformed from old industrial property build in 130 to 1970.

- Wan Space: a newly renovated creative office block on Wanhangdu Road. Airy and smartly sized room (35-77 sqm) in a 4-floor red brick building. The small roof-top garden is a real bonus. Value for money.

- Red villa @ Wan Space: a 3-floor villa-style building on Wanhangdu Road. The ground floor space (250 sqm) and upper floors (300 sqm) can be rented together or separately. The building has a simple interior with nice wooden stairs. Its ground floor garden is spacious and suitable for chill out and hosting event. Ideal for medium size creative company.

- Dutch Film Week 
To mark 40 years diplomatic relations between China and the Netherlands, Dutch Week is being organised. Dutch Week is organised by the Dutch business community in Shanghai and the Dutch Consulate General in Shanghai. During Dutch Week a number of activities are being organised to show Dutch Excellence to the Chinese community. More about Dutch Week 2012.

Dutch Film Week is a part of the Dutch Week 2012. Dutch Consulate General in Shanghai and Xindanwei will host the film festival. We will present you a Dutch movie every night for the week. The opening party will take place at 6:30pm on April 23. Peter Potman, the Consul-General will also be here to talk about the film and culture. Event Features

- Twittamentary Screening
Twittamentary is a creative commons, experimental documentary made by and about Twitter users. The documentary will be played in Xindanwei on 28th of April. Soik Soik, the film maker, will also be here to talk about his experience and thoughts about the documentary. More information about Twittamentary.

- Random DSIGN 
This exhibition displays the Random DSIGN collection and work, which include T-shirts, cups, hats, and so on. The opening party will take place at 3pm on 7th April.

Random DSIGN is randomly applying innovation design onto many. It is a label with no labeling. Random DSIGN does not design product, does not produce graphic, but express its love and fear of the world in its random little ways; it inspires a control-free space where the reality does not rule.

2).Xindanwei forthcoming events:

- MyPeople Project
The project suggests a new approach to develop a network between artists from Europe and Asia, allowing an intercultural dialogue. The process will result in exhibitions taking place in London, Amsterdam and Shanghai. The project intends to create a more organic discussion and an opportunity for the exchange of views and perceptions between artists, as well as an online and offline artist/audience dialogue. On the 30th of May, Xindanwei will invite four artists from this project to make an “open dialogue” at Yongjia 50. For more detail, please refer to events.

- Xinchejian Upcoming Events
There are three events will be presented by Xinchejian in this May. They are related to art and tech, sound synthesizer, as well as video synthesizer.

1) Co-working Manual app:
Xindanwei announced the ‘Co-working Manual’ to disscuss the the necessity and advantages of coworking communities, Xindanwei business model, key points of building the space, experience in business planning, community management and brand management. The purpose of launching this manual is to share experience and models, thus to promote the ‘coworking community’ working model and change the way people work.

“Xindanwei Coworking Manual” is nominated to “Digital Communities” category of the International Prix Ars Electronica 2012.

2) THNK, The Amsterdam School of Creative Leadership:
CEO of Xindanwei Liu Yan along with founder of Greennovate Mihela Hladin are going to attend THNK Creative Leadership Program of The Amsterdam School of Creative Leadership in Amsterdam. Stefano Marzano, former Chief Design Officer of Royal Philips Electronics, is the Founding Dean of THNK. And the advisory Board and faculty of THNK is comprised of the top creative leaders which include the Co-founder and Executive Director of Stanford d.school George Kembel, Designer Marcel Wander, Principal Architect & Co-founder of Unstudio Ben Van Berkel, and former Director of Design of Philips Marco Bevolon. Six months into the program, Xindanwei, Greennovate, along with Xindanwei/Grassland will embark on a twelve-month Challenge program called the Accelerator.

Thank you all for your continuing support. In this price-soaring age, we are trying out best to control the cost though, it’s still unlikely to sustain ourselves with the current price offering. - Let the dream fly – MOZI Human Powered aircraft going for Icarus Cup 
From 13th to 22nd of July, exactly one week before the opening ceremony of the 2012 London Olympic Games, the Royal Aeronautical Society Human Powered Aircraft Group will hold the Icarus Cup at Lasham Airfield in Hampshire, England. Mr Mao Yiqing and his team Shanghai OXAI, once invited by the Japan Human Powered Aircraft Association to particpate in a top international human powered aircraft competition held in Japan where they won a prize, has also been invited to take part in the Icarus Cup this year with their aircraft ‘Mozi’, the first human powered aircraft in China.

The 2012 Icarus Cup event will be broadcast live on western media including BBC and CNN with an expected audience of over 100 million. Mr Mao Yiqing would like to use this opportunity to showcase the crativity and manufacturing prowess of Chinese enteprises.

1) Xindanwei Incubator project:
Xindanwei has officially signed off the Crosslanding Partnership Agreement with Barcelona Activa – the largest government incubator in Barcelona, and Aalton Venture Garage - a Coworking Space for startup and entrepreneurship established in Aalton University, Finland. Xindanwei will serve as the soft landing platform for startups and entrepreneurs from these international partners.

2) Co-working Manual app:
Xindanwei announced the ‘Co-working Manual’ to disscuss the the necessity and advantages of coworking communities, Xindanwei business model, key points of building the space, experience in business planning, community management and brand management. The purpose of launching this manual is to share experience and models, thus to promote the ‘coworking community’ working model and change the way people work.

“Xindanwei Coworking Manual” is nominated to “Digital Communities” category of the International Prix Ars Electronica 2012.

3) THNK, The Amsterdam School of Creative Leadership:
CEO of Xindanwei Liu Yan along with founder of Greennovate Mihela Hladin are going to attend THNK Creative Leadership Program of The Amsterdam School of Creative Leadership in Amsterdam. Stefano Marzano, former Chief Design Officer of Royal Philips Electronics, is the Founding Dean of THNK. And the advisory Board and faculty of THNK is comprised of the top creative leaders which include the Co-founder and Executive Director of Stanford d.school George Kembel, Designer Marcel Wander, Principal Architect & Co-founder of Unstudio Ben Van Berkel, and former Director of Design of Philips Marco Bevolon. Six months into the program, Xindanwei, Greennovate, along with Xindanwei/Grassland will embark on a twelve-month Challenge program called the Accelerator.

- TK Terrace: Located in the Taikang Rd. area, it is a retail conversion of restored factories strung together. The event venue is around 150 sqm, capable for events of up to 80 people, well equipped with projector and provides F&B service.

- Haworth Organic Workspace: Located conveniently next to Jing’an temple, it is a collaboration project with Haworth Asia Pacific. The 960 sqm Organic Workspace is ideal for high-end events for up to 80 people, well equipped with projector, video screens, curated electronic content, coffee and tea and provides F&B service.

- Xindanwei /Grasslands: Xindanwei/Grasslands is located in a historic lane house on Shaoxing Road near South Shaanxi Road. - Let the dream fly – MOZI Human Powered aircraft going for Icarus Cup 
From 13th to 22nd of July, exactly one week before the opening ceremony of the 2012 London Olympic Games, the Royal Aeronautical Society Human Powered Aircraft Group will hold the Icarus Cup at Lasham Airfield in Hampshire, England. Mr Mao Yiqing and his team Shanghai OXAI, once invited by the Japan Human Powered Aircraft Association to particpate in a top international human powered aircraft competition held in Japan where they won a prize, has also been invited to take part in the Icarus Cup this year with their aircraft ‘Mozi’, the first human powered aircraft in China.

The 2012 Icarus Cup event will be broadcast live on western media including BBC and CNN with an expected audience of over 100 million. Mr Mao Yiqing would like to use this opportunity to showcase the crativity and manufacturing prowess of Chinese enteprises. Sponsorship can take the following forms: 1) Naming rights to the team and aircraft, 2) The design of the aircraft skin can be tailor-made to the requirments of the sponsor, 3) Product placement in the apparels of team members 4) Blind ad may be inserted by team members in interviews with media and other soft settings.

To mark 40 years diplomatic relations between China and the Netherlands, Dutch Week is being organised. Dutch Week is organised by the Dutch business community in Shanghai and the Dutch Consulate General in Shanghai. During Dutch Week a number of activities are being organised to show Dutch Excellence to the Chinese community. More about Dutch Week 2012.

Dutch Film Week is a part of the Dutch Week 2012. Dutch Consulate General in Shanghai and Xindanwei will host the film festival. We will present you a Dutch movie every night for the week. That’s why we have developed a plan to apply our people-powered approach among various of imaginative and extraordinary spaces and buildings around the city, in order to accommodate the growth of our members, allow more community participation and increase the the intensification of social and financial values for our community members.

- TK Terrace: Located in the Taikang Rd. area, it is a retail conversion of restored factories strung together. The event venue is around 150 sqm, capable for events of up to 80 people, well equipped with projector and provides F&B service.

- Haworth Organic Workspace: Located conveniently next to Jing’an temple, it is a collaboration project with Haworth Asia Pacific. The 960 sqm Organic Workspace is ideal for high-end events for up to 80 people, well equipped with projector, video screens, curated electronic content, coffee and tea and provides F&B service.

Office spaces:

- Xindanwei /Grasslands: Xindanwei/Grasslands is located in a historic lane house on Shaoxing Road near South Shaanxi Road. Xindanwei/Grasslands showcases the concept of “Eco-workspace”, which encourages waste separation, minimized use of utilities, thingking before printing, recycling what we can and refuse what we don’t really need.  The entire space will only use 100% natural and toxin free products.

- Central POD: Located in Jing An Temple CBD, it is a contemporary creative office and commercial space. Fifty-two office spaces ranging from 27 to 138 sqm spread on 3 levels are available now. Designed specifically for creative businesses and professionals, Central POD focuses on an urban loft-like design transformed from old industrial property build in 130 to 1970.

- Wan Space: a newly renovated creative office block on Wanhangdu Road. Airy and smartly sized room (35-77 sqm) in a 4-floor red brick building. The small roof-top garden is a real bonus. Value for money.

- Red villa @ Wan Space: a 3-floor villa-style building on Wanhangdu Road. The ground floor space (250 sqm) and upper floors (300 sqm) can be rented together or separately. The building has a simple interior with nice wooden stairs. Its ground floor garden is spacious and suitable for chill out and hosting event. Ideal for medium size creative company.

- “BARCAMP on March 3″

This March, the Shanghai tech community united for BarCamp, the famously dubbed “un-conference” where anyone, from a first year student to a renowned entrepreneur, with a deep passion for technology is given a stage to share their ideas with like-minded techies. This was the biggest Barcamp event in China ever, more than 400 people gathered for it.

- Pre-launch of SHElovestraveling.com and Kezhayou.com

8 March 2012 awaited the Pre-launch of two exciting online travel brands. The female-oriented travel platform SHElovestraveling.com partners with the hostel booking portal Kezhanyou.com, as they jointly target young local consumers who are increasingly making their travel decisions and buying their travel online.Feature Photos. - Greennovate - The UnHappy Meal or The Dark Side of Fast Food

The saloon was successfully concluded. The key topics of this saloon was marketing of food, difficult access to real food, and fast food in schools. Chelsea, who comes from American and did a lot of research of food and agriculture, is invited to share the healthy eating habits.

- Radio TANK party

2).Xindanwei forthcoming events:

- Let the dream fly – MOZI Human Powered aircraft going for Icarus Cup 

From 13th to 22nd of July, exactly one week before the opening ceremony of the 2012 London Olympic Games, the Royal Aeronautical Society Human Powered Aircraft Group will hold the Icarus Cup at Lasham Airfield in Hampshire, England. Mr Mao Yiqing and his team Shanghai OXAI, once invited by the Japan Human Powered Aircraft Association to particpate in a top international human powered aircraft competition held in Japan where they won a prize, has also been invited to take part in the Icarus Cup this year with their aircraft ‘Mozi’, the first human powered aircraft in China.

The 2012 Icarus Cup event will be broadcast live on western media including BBC and CNN with an expected audience of over 100 million. Mr Mao Yiqing would like to use this opportunity to showcase the crativity and manufacturing prowess of Chinese enteprises. Sponsorship can take the following forms: 1) Naming rights to the team and aircraft, 2) The design of the aircraft skin can be tailor-made to the requirments of the sponsor, 3) Product placement in the apparels of team members 4) Blind ad may be inserted by team members in interviews with media and other soft settings.

Twittamentary is a creative commons, experimental documentary made by and about Twitter users. The documentary will be played in Xindanwei on 31th of March. There are three events will be presented by Xinchejian in this March. They are related to art and tech, sound synthesizer, as well as video synthesizer.

#3. Xindanwei Wall

1) Co-working Manual app:

Xindanwei announced the ‘Co-working Manual’ to disscuss the the necessity and advantages of coworking communities, Xindanwei business model, key points of building the space, experience in business planning, community management and brand management. The purpose of launching this manual is to share experience and models, thus to promote the ‘coworking community’ working model and change the way people work.

“Xindanwei Coworking Manual” is nominated to “Digital Communities” category of the International Prix Ars Electronica 2012.

2) THNK, The Amsterdam School of Creative Leadership:

CEO of Xindanwei Liu Yan along with founder of Greennovate Mihela Hladin are going to attend THNK Creative Leadership Program of The Amsterdam School of Creative Leadership in Amsterdam. Stefano Marzano, former Chief Design Officer of Royal Philips Electronics, is the Founding Dean of THNK. And the advisory Board and faculty of THNK is comprised of the top creative leaders which include the Co-founder and Executive Director of Stanford d.school George Kembel, Designer Marcel Wander, Principal Architect & Co-founder of Unstudio Ben Van Berkel, and former Director of Design of Philips Marco Bevolon. Six months into the program, Xindanwei, Greennovate, along with Xindanwei/Grassland will embark on a twelve-month Challenge program called the Accelerator.

3) Revised Price:

Thank you all for your continuing support. In this price-soaring age, we are trying out best to control the cost though, it’s still unlikely to sustain ourselves with the current price offering. So, we have no choice to increase the price of the membership Xindanwei on Yongjia Rd 50 from 1st of March on.

RMB20/hour/person for conference room use,

RMB2500/month for monthly membership（three months accrue）

由英国皇家航空学会人力飞机委员会主办的依卡洛斯杯人力飞机大赛将在今年7月13日至22日伦敦奥林匹克运动会开幕前一周举行。曾受日本人力飞机协会邀请参加过在日本举行的世界顶级人力飞机赛事并获奖的，中国首架人力飞机“墨子号”的研发制造人毛一青和他的团队此次也受邀参赛。

赛事将被BBC，CNN等众多西方媒体转播，观众人数预计超过1亿。毛一青先生想借此机会携有识之士展示中国企业的创造力和制造力。赛事赞助的方式可表现为：企业或品牌可冠名参赛队和飞机；外表图装可按赞助方的要求设计；参赛队员的服装可植入品牌的广告；在各类媒体参访和软环境中参赛队员会主动植入赞助方的代理文字。

2) THNK, The Amsterdam School of Creative Leadership:
CEO of Xindanwei Liu Yan along with founder of Greennovate Mihela Hladin are going to attend THNK Creative Leadership Program of The Amsterdam School of Creative Leadership in Amsterdam. Stefano Marzano, former Chief Design Officer of Royal Philips Electronics, is the Founding Dean of THNK. And the advisory Board and faculty of THNK is comprised of the top creative leaders which include the Co-founder and Executive Director of Stanford d.school George Kembel, Designer Marcel Wander, Principal Architect & Co-founder of Unstudio Ben Van Berkel, and former Director of Design of Philips Marco Bevolon. Six months into the program, Xindanwei, Greennovate, along with Xindanwei/Grassland will embark on a twelve-month Challenge program called the Accelerator.

Ahlzen Karin comes from Sweden and working for the National Board of Health and Welfare as a terminologist. She plans to stay in shanghai for 6 months. Working with concepts and definitions within the healthcare sector for the Swedish Board from Shanghai, she finds Xindanwei just suiting her great.

Shengrong, a TV producer of Vivid Media, and president of Leaven Media. She has produced various TV programmes broadcasted on lots of channels, such as “Boss Town” on Dragon TV, “No free lunch” on CBN, “Call me boss” on Dragon TV, “Talk talk” on ICS and so on. She has served for CCTV,CETV. Now she is focusing on transmedia, and will launch a brand new project with TAOBAO.com(the biggest e-business company in china).

5) Fresh blood in Xindanwei team:
Mizz Zhou spent several years living and studying in the UK. Major in Finance, she worked for the Dowjones company in Shanghai. Young and beautiful, cheerful and passionate, she’s full of personal charm and creativity. In spare time, travelling and music are her favorite things to do. As our new marketing and community manager, her participation has definitely bring Xindanwei more vitalities.

Dodo is a fresh university graduate. The experience of living in France has inspired and encouraged her to dedicate herself to arts and creative industries and being a space coordinator in Xindanwei is a great start for her dream. As a shutterbug and exposition lover, arts and creativities has become an indispensable part of her life.

Jazz double bassist Sebao graduated from Shanghai Conservatory of Music. He’s good at making coffee in Synphon. Keen on self-training, he’s always looking for real happiness of life.

由英国皇家航空学会人力飞机委员会主办的依卡洛斯杯人力飞机大赛将在今年7月13日至22日伦敦奥林匹克运动会开幕前一周举行。曾受日本人力飞机协会邀请参加过在日本举行的世界顶级人力飞机赛事并获奖的，中国首架人力飞机“墨子号”的研发制造人毛一青和他的团队此次也受邀参赛。

- TK Terrace: Located in the Taikang Rd. area, it is a retail conversion of restored factories strung together. The spaces have been completely transformed to allow the customers and tenants to exist in a unique mix of indoor and outdoor space among many different levels of both indoor and outdoor spaces. Room 206, our event venue is around 150 sqm, capable for events of up to 80 people, well equipped with projector and provides F&B service.

- Haworth Organic Workspace: Located conveniently next to Jing’an temple, it is a collaboration project with Haworth Asia Pacific. This space showcases the best of what workplaces can be. Featuring innovative furniture products by a range of designers, the 960 sqm Organic Workspace is ideal for high-end events for up to 80 people, well equipped with projector, video screens, curated electronic content, coffee and tea and provides F&B service.

Startup Sauna open sources seed acceleration for early stage startups in Northern Europe, Baltics and Russia. In just 2 years, 48 startups have graduated from the Sauna and raised about $10 million of seed funding. By open sourcing we mean that we offer our services for free to selected startups.
